Live in Switzerland 1975

By Robert Wade Cottingham "Wade Cottingham I have listened to almost all of the Bill Evans CD's you could buy, ALL the official ones, and many bootlegs. Recently I bought this one (Live in Switzerland 1975) and also, 'Live in Paris 1972', from Amazon. This one (Live in Switzerland 1975) is much better. The audio quality is major label quality, superbly present and clear, and the playing seems much more 'happening' than the 'Live in Paris 1972' discs. Also, a lot of time I don't necessarily get happy with Eddie Gomez's playing, but here, he sounds pretty hot and happening to me. The applause sounds like a small room of about 40 people in the audience. Recommended!
