Slowmotion
Slowmotion is the first release on Solarstone's new primarily progressive label 'Molecule Recordings', a nu-breed of edm label pertaining to cutting edge sound and visual. 'Slowmotion' first surfaced in 2008 on Orkidea's 'Metaverse' album, and subsequently on Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' album of 2009. Now we present this clutch of brilliant remixes to kick start Molecule's industry presence. The 'French Renaissance' mix is a re-rub of the original with an additional ethereal spoken word sample, and is the version featured in the video which will be gracing TV screens shortly. Prog heron Medway has dropped a dark club mix with all of his trademark production tricks in place. Newcomer Big Black Rat fuses retro electronica sounds with the original melodies resulting in a startling remix. Ilya Malyuev's remix was a surprise to us, heading off on a tangent (these things do happen!) it's a modern tribute to the house sound of Chicago. Finally, just incase the trance faternity thought they had been forgotten, Lowland delivers the uplifting mix you have been waiting for. The legendary Finnish classical producer has given us a powerful big-room remix with hints of Vangelis which Solarstone himself has been road-testing for the past few months. All in all we're extremely proud to present this, the first Molecule Recordings release.
