In Colour, Vol. 1

i lost the original liner notes i had for this album, so i'll just rant on lol. For some reason, a lot of people have been asking for the original in colour tape, this was my first ever beat tape. it was heavily influenced by some of the dope german and french beatmakers that i discovered on myspace back in 07 and 08, back when i was starting to get into beat-tapes. my homie Powell (from France) had been dropping hella beat tapes at the time on myspace, which i was a huge fan of, and kinda drew me away from making regular beats for rappers, in favour of sloppy off kilter tape ****. Quite a few of these havent aged very well, but some of them are still dope to me. I think most people who are well-versed in my discography would agree that volume 2 was the best one overall, but i guess its cool to sort of see the progression of my sound from the beginning to now. These tracks bring back some interesting memories, i was in the 2nd or 3rd year of university when i put it all together. Oh, and please excuse the beyond ****ty album artwork. I was trying to study for a big midterm at 3:30 in the morning, and putting the tape together at the same time when i realized i had no artwork or anything. Rather than delay the tape, I threw something together in literally 5 minutes in paint. not even photoshop smh lol. anyways, enjoy. -eQ credits released March 6, 2008
