Majid Jordan专辑介绍：The Internet works in mysterious and sometimes-awesome ways. Earlier this week, the world was introduced to Toronto singer-producer duo Majid Jordan on Drake‘s new single, “Hold On, We’re Going Home“. And within a day or two, it was revealed that the two have officially signed with Drizzy’s OVO imprint. While this was all happening, the team at Fashionably Early caught up with Majid (the singer) and Jordan (the producer) for an interview. They received some help from members of Kanye To The, too, and they were able to also cobble together a eight-track EP of the duo’s work. It’s been labeled the afterhours EP, a fitting title given the sleepy, late-night numbers on this effort. There are some oontz-ing tunes, too, like “Give Me a Reason (For Lovin’ You)”, but much of it sounds like what Jai Paul could create if he ever left his bedroom. One thing is for sure after hearing this: It’s been a good past few years for singers with mumbly vocals and producers who complement them with a cassette tape-esque atmosphere.
