Live At the Roxy 09.25.14

It wasn’t too long after the release of the band’s ‘World on Fire’ album last year that the members of Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators took the stage at the renowned Roxy Theater on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The intimate setting of the venue provided such an intimate experience for the audience that the decision was made to record the show for a future release. ‘Live at the Roxy 9/25/14′ offers this same performance on an official live pressing, and captures this high octane rock unit as they’re found tearing through a compilation of songs from their two studio albums together, ‘World on Fire’ and 2012’s ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ as well as selections from Guns N’ Roses, Slash’s Snakepit and Velvet Revolver. The 3LP and 2 disc versions of the new live effort include nineteen songs spanning Slash’s entire career, such the anthemic “Back From Cali,” the fan favorite “You Could Be Mine” and the ferocious “Doctor Alibi,” the latter of which features bassist Todd Kerns on the main microphone and has since become a staple of the lineup’s concerts. Scheduled for release via Eagle Rock Entertainment on June 16, ‘Live at the Roxy 9/25/14′ will be made available on DVD, Blu-ray, 3LP, 2CD, and digital formats.
