L'uomo Che Si Gioca Il Cielo A Dadi
Italian pop rocker Roberto Vecchioni enters his fourth decade in the music industry with Canzoni E Cicogne, a decent collection of tracks that illustrate his various talents. He can go from a Peter Gabriel-esque mood piece to a blues rocker in the Bruce Cockburn vein with little effort, instead putting his all into his spoken sung voice. Although he comes off as an Italian Lou Reed at times, most of this album is a good representation of Vecchioni's talents. Recorded over a few nights in the spring of the previous year, this album may be the best way to first discover this Italian pop singer's music.
