Steve Gregory is a multi instrumentalist, specialising in saxophone and electronic wind instruments. Steve has a strong background in technology, with formal qualifications in software synthesis. He spent the mid 90s working in London, UK as part of the Res Rocket Surfer project - developing software to allow musicians to work together collaboratively across the Internet. It was during this time that he developed an appreciation for the sounds and beats of Drum and Bass and Big Beat that was popular in West London. Over the years he has continued to develop a style that fuses ethnic and acoustic instruments with modern electronica and technology. His goal is to write meaningful music that invokes emotion and brings inspiration, while never forgetting the importance of a great bass line!
