Room
"room" is the Japanese pianist Hideyuki Hashimoto's fourth solo album. With one old upright piano, with two microphones pointing inward, a rich acoustical beauty was constructed, in which the sound of the muted warm piano and various mechanical noises are combined. In this work, refrain from post-processing such as reverb, also avoid avoiding re-recording the same song as much as possible, the moment music was born, various sounds of the piano, the space before and after touched the piano, and the situation where the piano was played were kept intact. The first part of a two-part piano solo work which is paired with "out room".
