'Better Off' is Stevie's first solo outing and a heavyweight breakthrough track. After working with bands for a few years she felt it was time to showcase her talents on her own material with the support of like-minded musicians. The track is progressive RnB with soulful keys, deep sub bass and a dark and minimalist drum track, which creates the perfect backing for Stevie's uplifting vocal. 'I wanted to create something with an ethereal vibe that was me being true to myself - after trying to please everyone else I thought it was finally time to go out on my own and create music that felt like mine.
