Tracey
Tracey is a combination of crazy & cool with a voice that will make your ears sigh in relief... sometimes smooth, sometimes aching. Her songwriting comes from the heart and REAL life experiences, mostly her own. Be prepared to shed a tear or fight off a smile when experiencing her live performance or just listening to her CD. Her music is a collection of styles like pop, rock, r&b, jazz, country and folk combined to create a sound reminiscent of Melissa Ethridge, Sade and Annie Lennox. Without categorizing, Tracey's songs have reached the hearts of many through the melodic lyrical content that relates to the masses. Tracey has had the pleasure of working with some very talented and well known music industry pros like engineers Ron & Howard Albert (Derek & The Dominoes, Firefall, Crosby Stills & Nash) Larry Coryell (Jazz Guitarist), Steve Alaimo (TK Records President/ KC & The Sunshine Band) to name a few. Her main musical influences have been singer/songwriters like Colin Hay and Sara McLachlan. Tracey has built her musical foundation not only from the pop/rock scene but also from enjoying and listening to classical, jazz, R&B and eclectic music. Tracey considers herself a singer/songwriter, mainly a vocalist with a touch of acoustic guitar playing. Live, she is usually accompanied with a rhythm section (bass/drums) keyboards and lead guitarist and acoustically with either a second guitarist or bassist. Tracey's hobbies other than listening to music are day tripping, seeking enlightenment, daydreaming and the art and philosophy of love. Her website gives some details of her career and her current state of affairs etc. She can be found at www. Traceyland.com.
