Truth
Born in 1987, Flo Brown spends most his youth in Paris and its suburbs. While still in high school, he starts playing guitar. Soon afterwards, he’s joined by friends who also start to play instruments. Together, they played and recorded carefree punk music as "The Plastic Noodles Band". In the meantime, Flo starts writing and recording songs on his own. In 2007, he wraps his first solo album, "Between Love and hate”. Recorded in his small room of the 8th district in Paris, he distributes the album in digital for free. The album "My Imaginary Friend" is then recorded in much more proper conditions with friend and sound engineer, Didier Luton. First studying advertisement, Flo then moves to London where he studies contemporary music for a year. With former bandmate Nicolas Moreau, they start a new project as "The Lowkicks". Since the summer of 2009, Flo extensively writes and records in Paris intuitively and on demand. As part of starting our new Indie Label, Rendez Vous Records, the E.P. "Truth" is now on CdBaby & Spotify. Recorded through 2010-'11, Truth compiles 5 songs that show a very personal take on modern music. Inspired by 50 years of rock & the love of new technologies & home recording, the album is quite lo-fi while maintaining a groovy & vibrant energy. Be wild, uncover new music, you won't regret it.
