Total Eclipse of the Heart
Back In 1993, Energise Records launched its first record with an unknown UK singer Nicki French, which was a HiNRG Dance cover of “Total Eclipse Of the Heart”. The record went to #1 on the US dance charts and sat there for 10 weeks. Then in 1995, the record re-produced by the legends Stock & Aitken, was released by Critique/BMG and flew up the Billboard Top100, finally reaching #2, stopped only by Bryan Adams from topping the chart! The record was a worldwide smash, and was followed by other hits and in 2000 Nicki was chosen to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest with “Don’t Play that Song Again”. Nicki has never stopped touring and after returning to Energise in 2005 with the stunning club smash “I Surrender” she was invited to appear at MardiGras and Prides in the UK, USA and Australia. Also in 2007 she hit Brazil with a bang! Topping the bill at the Energia 97FM concerts to packed houses that knew ALL the words to her smash hits! These new mixes of the huge “Total Eclipse” were a #4 Club hit in the UK, and just one listen will tell you that this song just gets better with age. The mixes are in Trance, EuroPop, Circuit Style, Latino, and Funky House, this package has something for every Nicki French fan and more… For the beautiful "Twilight Mix" check out the digital package!!
