The video spent 61 days at the #1 position. On the 2000s Around The World In 100 Hours "Black & Blue" promo trip Backstreet Boys sang an a cappella version of the song every continent they landed on. In 2008 one of the writers, Lisa Miskovsky, released her own version of the song. Her version is titled "Another shape of my heart". Shape of My Heart is one of the Backstreet Boys's biggest singles to date. During the show at Los Angeles Kevin Richardson surprisingly turned up to deafening screams and sang Shape of My Heart with the boys.
