简介： 　The Civil Wars is a group composed of Singer-Songwriters Joy Williams and John Paul White. The two met during a Nashville, Tennessee songwriting session in 2008. After recording a live performance album and a four song EP, their full length album, , was released in 2011. The band won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Folk Album in 2012. 　　Dine Alone Records has announced that the Folk and Country music duo The Civil Wars will take part in the 5th annual Record Store Day on April 21, 2012. Record Store Day is a way for people across the globe to reminisce about the pre-digital world of music and support local brick and mortar record stores. 　　For Record Store Day, The Civil Wars are releasing an 8-track EP recorded live at Amoeba Hollywood on June 14, 2011. feature 5 songs from the Grammy-winning album, as well as 3 covers of Michael Jackson, Leonard Cohen, and Smashing Pumpkins. 　　Unfortunately, the album will be extremely limited to 1,000 copies, so it may be a challenge for fans to actually get their hands on one.
