Classics From the Vault vol.2
The guys at Mdlm are opening their secret vault one more time to unleash some of David Duriezs previous works. Duriezs carreer as a musician started in the early 90s. His first professional release in the House music field was in 1994 on a USA Imports imprint Peek-A-Boo Since then Duriez never stopped to produce. So much that it was impossible to find a home for all the tracks he has done. Duriez has been very active behind the gears in the nineties and his appetite for electronic tunes lead him to produce hundreds of tracks in many genres. The man did produce House & Techno but also Drum&Bass (He has produced an album in 1998 unreleased for now that we will release as download only on our new imprint Aperto Check the web soon, the label will also release his unreleased album from 2002 as Le Dav) or Downtempo. On this second volume you will find a new remastered version of the much sought-after I sure do like, a pure dancefloor killer with a cheeky sampled vocal, truly a Duriez classic, followed by Fight Club a ghetto house track sampling Brad Pitt, another cheeky vocal. On the flip, probably the classic of the Duriez classics from 1996, released in the Uk on Filth records (RCA, Moodyman, Theo Parrish, K Hand at that time) and Apricot in France, the original mix repressed, remasterised, in all its glory The Warm Up - 10 years anniversary ahahaha ! Last but not least, a laidback atmospheric chill out essai, never released before, about the secret of life
