Frédéric Chopin

Multiprize winner at several prestigious competitions (Chopin, Busoni, Tchaikowsky or Artur Rubinstein, among others), Dmitri Shishkin publishes his first CD with KNS Classical: “Absolute Chopin”. Praised for his astonishing virtuosity, Shishkin has recorded Chopin’s 2nd Sonata, one of the composer’s masterpieces, together with some Mazurkas, the famous 2nd Scherzo and a very rarely played Rondo in C Minor. The CD is part of the prize of the FVG International Piano Competition (2014) and was recorded at prestigious Fazioli Hall, in Sacile, Italy.
