After "Passenger Of Tomorrow, Discovolante, Do It" Florian Gasperini [Barcelona, Ibiza] is back on PUMPZ ! "Funktrap", is a true 2 tracks house ep, ideal to "PUMPZ" the floors. FLORIAN GASPERINI Deejaying for more than 15 years, this charismatic and talented french DJ and producer still lives and enjoys the music with the same passion and the same energy as when he began. That is probably the reason why he is today one of Barcelona’s DJs with the biggest international projection. Florian is for sure a reference into Barcelona’s electronic scene, where he regularly plays in the hippest clubs of the city, as Pacha Barcelona, CDLC-Carpe Diem, Solo, Hotel Me, W Hotel, City Hall, Sutton, Oshum or Club Catwalk. His music is also very demanded for the most fashionable events and parties in town. In 2006 Playboy chose him to be the DJ of Hugh Hoften’s Official 80th anniversary. And today he very often plays for fashion stores opening events: Guess, Swarovski, Berska, Jacques Dessange... As the main resident DJ of the famous Barcelona Essentials events (parties presenting “the best of Barcelona in one night”) he has been playing over the last two years in the best clubs of the main European capitals: Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Lausane, Milan... In Summer 2010, Florian has had a successfull start in Ibiza, being resident of two main weekly parties (Mondays Calling at Space Ibiza and Ibiza Essentials at Ibiza Gran Hotel). As a result of this fantastic year, Florian has been nominated for the Spanish Deejaymags in two categories: Best DJ 2010, and Best Loung Club Resident DJ in Ibiza. Florian has his weekly session on Ibiza Global Radio every sunday, and collaborated with the Ministry of Sound the whole last Summer 2011 in La Terrrazza Barcelona where he is the official resident. Very eclectic, his sets full of energy offer from the most elegant deep house, to the most dynamic electro tech beats and progressive, adding the freshest house grooves to current styles. As he says: “I need to feel the dance-floor, to see the people enjoy, I try to transmit emotion, and my only objective is to make the people feel it and dance all night long”. This same emotion he wants to transmit through his productions and remixes. Over the last years Florian’s work has met a huge international success. His productions and remixes are always supported by the biggest names: “Unbreakable” (White Island Recordings) remixed by Hernan Cattaneo and Pol Folder was nº1 chart in Delta FM, Argentina in August; “Do It” released the 11th of November on Pumpz Recordings is supported by Roger Sanchez and Paul Van Dyk and his last remix “Aria” (Avioground) of Francesco Farfa released the 16th of November called the attention of Cristian Varela and Wally Lopez. Performed along with Funkerman,Tom Novy, Oxia, Edu Imbernon, Pan Pot, Alex Flatner, Timid Boy, Cesar de Melero, Prok & Fitch, and many more; Florian is planning La Terrrazza tour along with Bono Goldbaum (Code2 records Berlin, Instinkt Music).
