Communication
Julian Sanza may be Argentina's best kept secret but any way you look at it, this Communication EP is worth talking about. Sanza is a big part of the 20:20 Vision Soundsystem stable--one of Ralph Lawson's go-to-guys--and as Silver City he's established himself as a leader in the Tech House movement. For D'lectable, Julian has produced a really great EP with an 80's vibe that speaks to a European sensibility--big room production with lots of orchestration and build ups. These tunes are fun as well as easy to move and groove to on the dancefloor. A guest appearance from Simon Baker (UK) on one of the title track remixes brings that harder minimal edge for deep dark nights-perfect for the Cox's and Tenaglia's of the world. Julian does the rest on this EP including the undeniable title track with it's New Order feel, his very progressive remix of it that tacks on a freaky little vocal sample, plus the bonus cut, Miami Beach--a super standout number that gives you the feel of fast cars, hot girls and neon lights.
