The Shine
Havens+Hart (aka J.D. Havens and Aaron Hart) made their debut last month on our Stranjjurs Teasing You compilation, with their tune "Think"; and now the guys from Minneapolis are ready to flex their house music muscle in front of the world, by way of their debut full release, The Shine EP. Featuring three piping hot slices of deep, sultry house music, The Shine EP puts the guys' talents on full display, with "Shine", "Find a Way" and "Depend on Me" all coming strong with addictive hooks, clever sampling and that unique Havens+Hart style that is simple unforgettable and pure magic on the dancefloor. To sweeten the release even more, we drafted the services of a few talented producers after being impressed with their recent works on some of our favorite labels. First, after being blown away by his recent Halfway EP under his Homeboy moniker on the Hypercolour label, we contacted Marko P and asked him to remix Find A Way. Marko joined forces with his remix partner, Pytzek and the pair turned in an absolutely stunning analog-fueled remix. With it's dazzling Mr. Fingers-esque keys and constantly evolving bass lines, the Homeboy & Pytzek remix of Find a Way has already received huge praises and secured spots in the crates of Jimpster, Toby Tobias and Axel Boman. The Shine EP's second remix comes courtesy of red-hot Polish duo, Viadrina. After hearing their stunning music for our friend Marcin Czubala's label, Your Mama's Friend.. we simply had to get these boys onboard here at Stranjjur and this seemed like the perfect project for them. After sending them the remix parts for all three songs, Viadrina came up with an impressive collage-style remix that takes inspiration and elements from all three original songs on the EP to form an absolute dancefloor bomb which we fittingly named..Viadrina Found a Way to Shine 3-mix
