The Music of Warren Benson, Vol. 2
It is fitting that this recording features Benson’s wind band works performed by the United States Marine Band. The Marine Band’s commission and performance of Benson music — including for the signing of the 1993 Middle East Peace Accord on The White House lawn, and the dedication of the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. — exemplified the long artistic collaboration and deep friendship between Benson and the Marine Band.
