Spit Or Swallow

Both Schaalby, a village with a population of 300 near the city of Schleswig, Germany, and Los Angeles an enormous metropolis in the United States are points of origin for the new LIMBOGOTT Long player “Spit Or Swallow”. Although both places couldn’t be more different you will quickly recognize that this record is one solid collaboration. The band has taken things to a new level in sound as well as in song writing. An all star cast of contributors have put effort into this wonderful collection of music. Jay Gordon (Linkin Park, Korn, u.a.), Sylvia Massy (System Of A Down, Johnny Cash, u.a.), and John Fryer ( Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, u.a.) collectively worked on the new LIMBOGOTT material. The sound is so hard, but at the same time softer than ever before. Even established fans will find a lot of new and interesting elements on this release. One highlight of the album is, without a doubt, the cover song “Haus der Lüge”, a classic from “Einstürzende Neubauten”. On “Spit Or Swallow” LIMBOGOTT perform the song together with Chris Pohl, who is an avid LIMBOGOTT fan – if you don’t swallow this, it is certainly your loss.
