Stranjjurs Teasing You (Volume 1)

After only two releases, NYC's Stranjjur Imprint has quietly pushed it's music into the spotlight; having already reached plateau's that many labels only dream of after years of work. Having already reached Resident Advisor's Top 50 in December (Andrew Soul - Close To You, #29); as well as a #2 spot on Decks.de Bestsellers chart in October (Lula Circus Miami Vices EP); as well as receiving heavy rotation on top radio channels such as BBC Radio (Maya Jane Coles Essential Mix; Across the Line); etc .. the young label from the Big Apple seems to have hit it's stride in quick fasion. With a full release schedule planned in 2012, Stranjjur's first digital only release is a Various Artist affair, which features exclusive new music from the label's roster of new up and coming artists; many of which have EPs in the works later this year.

Stranjjurs Teasing You: Volume One features music that breathes 'the sound of now', as the label aims its sight toward the future. Featuring jams from hotly-tipped artists such as WiLDKATS (who remix Lula Circus "Pumpin Groovin Moovin' ) and Miguel Puente; as well as choice cuts from label owners Kev Obrien and Chris Luzz (under their new Manhattan Project guise); in addition to music from Thomas Langner and Memo Insua & Rey Aguilar. The compilation also features the worldwide debut of Josh Kleyton, Havens & Hart and Art in Motion.
