Prelude to 2012

After the split-up of the critically acclaimed producer group, Up Hygh, there's been nothing but silence on the funk side of things of Sweden. But now, the long awaited, highly anticipated solo-debut of Funkenteller (aka Rick Skizzo) is finally here. This 5 track EP is a taste of what lies ahead and features guest appearences from Maryland based MC, KayDee, the legendary Harlem based MC, Force, the undisputed freestyle champ and one half of Hearin' Aid, Aaron Phiri, Sweden's best reggae MC, Leafnuts and up-and-coming superstar Bud McNuggit (of Supahumans). Also on the EP is an exclusive D-Frost (of Hearin' Aid) remix of the song Smash Him (also on the EP) that's already been on legendary Raw Fusion DJ and label-owner Mad Mats' top 10 list. All the tracks are certified club bangers but also work on many other levels.
