The Set Up
After a successful 2011 with a huge release on Logan Sama’s Earth616 label, with the “Bounce” EP, and subsequent releases on the flourishing Pitch Controllers label, it’s only right that Triangulum joins forces with rising Grime star Teeza to release “The Set Up” EP. Consisting of four previously unreleased instrumentals which have been vocalled by Grime heavyweights Shorty & JME (Boy Better Know), Maxsta, and the hotly-tipped Dream McLean (The Regime), the EP showcases Teeza’s versatility as a producer. From the rowdiness of “B4 The Storm” and “The Set Up”, to the darker sounds of “Azkaban” and “Intervention”, this EP has a mixture of styles to please both DJs and MCs. The EP, as well as the original vocals have already received support radio support from Rinse FM residents Spyro and Score Five, Déjà Vu FM’s Spooky, and BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra’s Mistajam. With further releases in the pipeline, ranging from Grime to Hip Hop, 2012 looks bright for the West London producer/emcee.
