Gun Cout Dub Vol.1 was the first dub album to be released by Soul Beat Records which lead to further releases of volume 2, 3 and 4. Bands that played the music on these albums are Sly Dunbar & The Revolutionaries, The Conscious Minds, Skin Flesh & Bones and Roots Radics Band.
