Brighter Days Riddim produced by Silly Walks Discotheque After the huge success of Silly Walks Discotheque’s last riddim Release „Honey Pot“ from February 2013, they are ready to release their new project called „Brighter Days“ now. The riddim, which has been played by the Hamburg - based music master Jr Blender, is a mid-tempo one drop riddim with a heavy bassline and a sweet chord progression. In addition to those two, there are six new songs to be released. The title track „Dreams of Brighter Days“ is a collaboration between Busy Signal, Jamaica’s most versatile superstar, currently on every chart with Major Lazer’s „Bumaye“- and the up-and-coming Roots artist R.C. from the Penthouse Records artist camp. The song is a potential anthem with uplifting lyrics for everybody who is facing hard times in life. „Break Free“ by Loyal Flames is another uprising Roots artist from Kingston. His song „Break Free“ is an encourement to break free from physical and mental chains, sung with a rugged voice with a very catchy hookline. Exco Levi is one of Jamaica’s finest talents of today. He is signed to Penthouse Records, but has already voiced a couple of quite successful songs for Silly Walks, like „Storms of Life“, the title track of their last album. „Jah nah Sleep“ is a reminder that God is always there, watching every move people make. „Look on my Face“ is a song about not judging people by the way they look. On his song, the ladies’ singer Christopher Martin from St Catherine, Jamaica shines with a great vocal perormance and some thoughtful lyrics. Etzia from Sweden is first and foremost a dancehall artist. On „Go away“ she shows off the real beauty of her voice as she sings uncommonly smooth about a lover who had left her when she had needed him most. One of the golden voices of today’s Reggae belongs to Romain Virgo. His exceptional voice, his singing skills and the intensity he carries on every song he sings made him the No 1 singer of his generation. His song on „Brighter Days“ riddim , „Soul Provider“, is a cover version, orininally sung by Michael Bolton. Well, there isn’t much to say about it, it’s just beautiful.
