Miso Moments Vol 1

Miso 021 see's the release of the first in our occasional series 'Miso Moments'...the e.p features 4 hot new mixes of recent Miso releases. ....first off we have Charles Webster feat Emilie Chick - 'fantasized'....this deep and percussive groover was featured on Charles' recent S.A compilation 'studio soul' but was never available as a separate download, it features the beautiful storytelling of Emilie Chick over a classic Webster groove...pure dance floor deepness. Next up on the E.P are 2 more exclusive mixes Charles made for his S.A compilation (also available here for the 1st time as a download), both tracks are recent Miso releases but appear here as drastically reworked versions, the new mix of Charles Webster feat Diviniti's 'learning to love me' enters deeper waters than the original mixes, using loopy percussion and deep chords and sequences it perfectly supports Diviniti's spiritual vocal delivery...next we have the Charles Webster mix of Version's 'nothing', Charles again takes the track in a new deeper direction using hypnotic synths and percussion to great effect, all building up to a huge drop in the middle of the song that takes the chorus into a totally new musical vibe...a big track indeed ....finally we see the return of High Skies to Miso Records, this time he is remixing the Furry Phreaks feat Terra Deva classic 'soothe', and boy does he take the track to a new place....using a beat-less backdrop of analogue beauty (Arp Odyssey, Jupiter 6 and space echo) he twists the song into a dark yet beautiful masterpiece.
