Pure Acoustic Bossa Trois

Areia De Rio is a cover band with a changing structure which covers songs from the New Wave in Bossa nova style. They have always loved the music of the late 70s' and early 80s' and decided to revive it with the elegance and sensuality of Bossanova. The group resurrected classics hit songs of 2010 and reinterpreted them in a bossa nova style. The songs were stripped back to acoustic arrangements with lithe shaker rhythms achieved by gathering the best musician .Rosa Costa only performed songs that had reached the US or UK Chart this is to ensure that each cover would have a unique quality when reinterpreted to boss nova.
