Cass County
Miranda Lambert, Mick Jagger, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and Martina McBride make guest appearances on Don Henley’s Cass County, his first solo album in 15 years. Produced by Henley and Stan Lynch and recorded primarily in Nashville and Dallas, the project will be released on Sept. 25. The album title refers to the county in northeast Texas where Henley was born, raised and began his music career. Lambert and Jagger are featured on “Bramble Rose,” Haggard on “The Cost of Living,” Parton on “When I Stop Dreaming” and McBride on “That Old Flame.” Jamey Johnson, Alison Krauss and Vince Gill also contributed to the recording sessions.
