Moving

Listening to the re-mix CD version of this fine album convinces me that these three fine singers were well ahead of their time. The brilliance of their singing and guitar playing is , perhaps, best illustrated on the final track, 'A Soalin'. Other stand out tracks are 'Gone the Rainbow', 'Flora' and a hauntingly beautiful 'Tiny Sparrow' (sometimes called 'Come all ye fair and tender ladies'). Peter Yarrow has done a fine job with the remix and so, if like me, you have all PP&M's early albums gathering dust buy this and their other albums on CD. The music sounds better than ever. Truly lasting.
