It Girl

After a successful year of 2019, which showcased 10 (11) awesome releases and many stellar achievements & new ventures, we’re more than pumped to finally get to start our 2020! This year, you can prepare yourself for a doubled release amount as we’re tightening our release frequency, but also for a handful of releases in a new genre, while still maintaining the same ‘Future Generation style’ in a broader picture. For our first release of 2020, we’re excited to welcome the Canadian duo Wild Cards to Future Generation for not only their first release on the label, but also for the first cover release on the label. Their debut FG release is a fantastic rework of Jason Derulo’s hit song ‘It Girl’, which sold platinum/gold in 6 countries. Their version gives the original pop/R&B love song a catchy & uplifting dance pop/house-ish twist, while maintaining in a lovely way the emotional feeling of the original track. It Girl also marks Wild Cards’ 1st release with their new style, shifting from their past melodic trap/future bass-is into a more dance pop influenced direction, while still maintaining the ‘Wild Cards touch’ in all of their productions.
