Neptune's Satori
Asher's music is a tool to express his words of optimism, frustration, success, gratitude, love, and peace. He has no substantial musical history, but his passion and drive will keep this young man going. His music is somewhat therapeutic and soothing to the listener. Asher started to make his first album in October of 2005 at a small yet outstanding recording studio called Gadgetbox Studios. He wanted to have more musical elements on his album, so he decided to hire musicians to fill out his sound. Throughout the recording process, Asher learned as he went about producing an album. With no managers, agents or anyone showing him the way, he finished his first album titled: "Neptune's Satori". Satori is a Buddhist Zen term which means the moment of awareness or enlightenment. Neptune, as used for the title of the album, is referring to the planet and not the king of the Sea. Asher went through a very long astrological transit with Neptune which was all about shattering the illusions of his ego, and becoming fuller in his connection with his own spirituality. The title seemed fitting for the album because the completion of the album and the end of the astrological transit occurred at the same time. His primary intent with his work is to provide perspective, inspiration and joy to whoever is attracting it.
