GFunk of LayLow Inc, grew up in Southern California with a devout passion for music. GFunk was one of Orange County most sucessfull independent musicians, with releases like "CRUSING DOWN BRISTOL", "GANGSTA & PLAYAS". His independent success earned him a major street credibility name and the opportunity to establish his own music label, LayLow Inc. LayLow Inc. became one of the official production companies of Hi-Power Ent. which is currently under Mr.Capone-E & Mr.Criminal. GFunk's 2007 national debut "RIDING LOW" debuted on BILLBOARD MAGAZINE'S TOP 500 and quickly reached international status. GFunk started taking Latin Hip Hop to a whole 'nother level and quickly became recognizable in Japanese and European markets. His 2009 release "WELCOME 2 CALIFORNIA" debuted as the 1 RAP album in Japan for 3 consecutive weeks. GFunk has also been featured in such movies as; YARDSALE and 25 TO LIFE with LIL.ROB, P.O.D, DEMETRIUS NAVARRO, ERLINDA NAVARRO, ARIS ALVARADO, ROBERTO "SANZ" SANCHEZ & MONIQUE LA BARR. April 2013 GFunk was incarcerated with charges of possession of an assault riffle, serving time for having an Ak-47 in public. He was released 8/2013 and he currently plans to release his 3rd solo album in the Summer of 2014 titled "STUDIO SEX".
