The Lunch Shift
Beth Malone – Biography Beth Malone has sold you everything from Chicken McNuggets to allergy medicine… You’ve seen her in every commercial break of your favorite TV show peddling auto insurance, printers, even Lazy Boy recliners. Beth Malone is a very familiar face on American television. But the focus of Beth Malone’s true talent lies in her voice. Known for vocal range, power and sheer beauty, Beth has been called one of the new “divas” of Broadway. Beth made her Broadway debut as a youthful June Carter Cash in the musical, “Ring Of Fire.” From this role, Beth Malone had indeed arrived, landing a guest concert appearance on NBC’s “The Today Show.” Now, Beth’s voice is imprinted in the forefront of her debut album "The Lunch Shift." This 10-song CD gives listeners an album full of over-the-top performances through introspective and sometimes oddly irresistible songs. The distinctive acoustic country/rock sound combined with Beth's commanding vocals are a dynamic blend that gives fans more than they could ask for in an album project. Originally from Colorado, Beth grew up on a horse ranch performing in local and regional Colorado theaters. When Beth won the Denver Drama Critic’s “Best Actress” award, she thought it was time to move on. Today Beth lives in Los Angeles and spends much of her time traveling between LA and New York. "The Lunch Shift" delivers a strong musical signature in the country/folk/AAA arena. The album was produced by multi Emmy®-Award winning producer, director and composer Brian Malone, who happens to be Beth's brother. Brian played almost all of the instruments, wrote and co-wrote all of the songs and was joined by such heavy hitters as Jeff Pevar (Crosby, Stills and Nash) and fretless bass master, Michael Manring.
