I Wish You Love (feat. Barry Miles)
When I was only thirteen, I listened to jazz from my Mom's collection of 78 records listening to Frank Sinatra; Earl Bostic(a saxophonist exquisite blues and jazz stylings), Ella Fitzgerald, and many others who inspired me at that early age. Then came 45 rpm's; 8-tracks; cassettes, then cd's of which I collected mostly of Jazz music of singers and musicians. I finally met Sarah Vaughn and Carmen MacRae while working on a cruise line (S.S. Lurline) when they performed in the main showroom while I sang with a dance band downstairs. Eventually I would meet and be part of a televised special with the gracious Nancy Wilson and Vic Damone. Nancy has always been one of my very favorites and to meet her was a highlight of my career. Just observing all of these great jazz singers perform was enough schooling for me to continue my illustrious career as a solo stage performer. And now, being seasoned as one could be in the limelight of readiness, my wish has come true to record my very first Jazz CD and here it is from my heart to yours, "I Wish You Love." Enjoy and as we say from Hawaii, "mahalo" or thank you.
