Quiet days in Tokyo

Pierre-Jean Gidon is saxophonist,composer and music producer in France and Japan. He used to play saxophone in a lot of jazz bands in France where he began his professional career as side man with famous french artist .In the same time he began his career of composer , writing songs for french singers, writing scores for movies , composing and producing music for commercial TV movies. Some of his most important musical productions are Chanel 19,Chanel mascara Chanel lipstick,Guerlain"Odelys", M&M's with Jean Paul Gaultier,Peugeot,Citroen ,Nissan,Susuki Rover,Toyota,Essilor,Wells,SFR,Danone,Kelloggs… These last years the direction of his work is a large mix featuring the beat of the Brazilian bossa nova,the wonderfull melodies of asia and the impressionist harmony of new french classical music.Pierre-Jean Gidon is living and working now in Paris and in Tokyo,where he is making a lot of concerts.he played at the last Tokyo bossa nova festival and popular brasil day in Tokyo. «BRAZOUL » is his first Japanese CD..It's a mix of electronic and acoustic music with a female singer from Rio de Janeiro. He made his second CD “CHINA BOSSA ” with a chinese female singer of Shanghai. These last 3 years he arranged and produced a Japanese collection of famous English and french songs cover in bossa nova pop style.
