Some say that life imitates art. For Lee Wilson, 23-year-old singer/songwriter, his art isn't simply a reflection of his life, it is his life. Born in Boston, Lee has been pursuing his passion for music since the age of 7. With inspirations like Stevie Wonder, Queen, Patti Labelle, Marc Anthony, Tego Calderon and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, it is no surprise that Lee Wilson is motivated to create an all-out stage epic. Lee is committed to being the total package both on the stage as well as in the studio. By writing and arranging his own lyrics and vocals, Lee's music truly is a reflection of his life and influences. A few of his accomplishments include: appearing on BET's highly successful, video show 106 & Park as a guest performer, winning the Coca Cola and Hot 97.7 "True Talent" competition, being featured in the Off Broadway musical "Ain't Misbehavin'" at The Huntington Theatre in Boston. In 2006, Lee was chosen as Vibe Magazine's Free Agent Winner. Lee's article appeared in the February '06 issue of Vibe. Lee Wilson was a special guest performer 2X this year on the Fox 25 Morning Show. Lee has opened up for Sony recording artist, John Legend and for American Idol winner, Fantasia Barrino.
