Marcus D is a hip hop producer from Seattle who creates a wide array of genres including jazz, hip hop, and ambient soul/trip-hop. He is a classical pianist with an orchestral background, and also samples video game music. He has collaborated with American hip hop legends like Royce Da 5'9", Blu, Saigon, Substantial, Planet Asia, Skyzoo, Crooked I, and Termanology just to name a few. Marcus D is well-known for his contributions to the Japanese hip-hop scene and is often compared to the late Japanese producer Nujabes.
