Mistapool & Jupiter 7

What started out as a few remixes, fifteen tracks later, has turned into JUPITER 7's third full length release entitled, MISTAPOOL AND JUPITER 7. This time around, J has relinquished his signature production style and has left in the crafty hands of Belarus (Russia) beat maker Mistapool. This international connection has created an honest, sonically driven album that pays homage to golden-era boom-bap and conscious hip-hop. It s simplistic in nature, yet lyrically engaging and complex. What s most surprising about these two artists is that they ve never met face to face. This project was completed over a year of continuous email exchanges and shear dedication. The album is also loaded with guest appearances from some of the finest unheard underground rappers from the Bay Area and beyond. The end product, Mistapool and Jupiter 7 serve up a plate of head-nodding material that should have fans and newcomers thirsting for more.
