Catch That Spark

Chip & Laury are an acoustic rock duo from Jupiter, FL. With their love for stripped down, simple, vocal harmony and acoustic driven music, Chip & Laury have received great reviews on their original style and entertaining live performances. Recently, Chip & Laury released their first original CD, “Catch That Spark”, co-written and produced by Mike Garrigan (Collapsis, Athenaeum), as well as Americana songwriter, Jerry Mynatt. “We wanted to write an original album that really embodied our sound, which is very driven by our harmonies and the appreciation of pure acoustic guitar tone.” Said Chip in recent interview. Both Chip & Laury have made music an essential part of their life, prior to uniting as an acoustic rock duo. Laury is a certified board music therapist with over 7 years of experience working for Hospice of Palm Beach County. Chip has performed in several bands, and as a solo artist, with a CD and 2 EP’s of original material under his belt. He has had the opportunity to share a stage with acts such as Butch Walker and Sister Hazel. In 2014, Chip and Laury hope to perform many live shows in support of their new CD, as well as write and record even more new material to share with the world. They also have several other music/video campaigns in the works.
