Singer-songwriter Thomas Martin describes his music as "Americana with hooks." His original songs deliver fresh elements of country, folk, pop, and bluegrass, and his first two CDs - The Flowers Fall and Under the Sun - have received attention in the US and in Europe. A fan favorite and single from his first CD, “She’s A Millionaire” is currently in rotation on NPR’s All Songs Considered Open Mic program. In July 2006, Thomas released Electro-Magnetic. This is his first electric effort and he's joined by an incredible group of musicians affectionately known as The Martinis. The band assembled in the Fall of 2005 and started recording the CD in early 2006. If you like pop hooks, country roots, rock and roll, and pedal steel guitar, you’ll love the ten tracks on this recording. A native New Yorker, Martin has performed in venues such as CBGB's, The C-Note and Kenny's Castaways. He currently resides in Nashville, TN.
