A Love Like This

This entire recording shows a remarkable variety in style of music ranging from fully a orchestrated love ballad ("A Love Like This" or the beautifully done classic "It is Well With My Soul") to funky grooves that would make the late James Brown envious (Standin' In the Gap) There's also incredibly touching inspirational tunes like "Run and Not Get Weary" and "Jesus, How I Love You" which showcases the beautiful soprano voice of Brenda Nicholas. This CD has a little something for everybody. The bassist really starts to party during "Something About That Name of Jesus", but just before you clear the furniture to join in the fun...the vocals start and you're compelled to listen.
