His single "Hot N Club" featuring rap legend Too-Short, will have dance floors packed around the world. He has also worked with artist such as J-Dubb and B-Legit. This tall and handsome man has a distinctive sound and flair that will be around in years to come. Damone was born Aug 6 1980 in Las Vegas Nevada. He was raised as a middle child with two brothers and one sister. As a child, his mother helped groom his voice by holding family vocal sessions. Performances at churches, talent shows, and social gatherings also helped his vocals and style of singing. Although he was raised in a household of singers, he learned the art of production on his own. Using his $250.00 Casio Keyboard, he began writing and producing music at the tender age of 14. His teenage years consisted of school, work, and music. As an electrician, he worked an average of 60 hours a week while attending school. Although work and school was overwhelming, he always found time to write, sing, and produce music. Majority of his free time was dedicated to Music. While his friends were hanging out, he was at home perfecting his craft. His motivation and dedication is an example of what the true love of music is. Damone has been inspired by many great producers and artists, such as H-Town, Donnie Hathaway, John P. Key, The Isley Brothers, Jagged Edge, R-Kelly, Rodney Jerkins, Jermanie Dupri, Musiqsoulchild, and many others. Damone plans to build and grow with music and be count as one of the next great recording artists/songwriter/producer. Damone gives a lot of credit to Obbrie Wadley for seeing a vision and taking out the time to make it all happen. Obbrie Wadley of Tanasa Producions has built a solid foundation on good principles which is the meaning of the name Tanasa: Connected with the principle of good.
