My name is Daniel I am a Indie Singer/Songwriter. To be honest I used to think being able to play guitar was a curse.That was mainly because I just didn't know what to do with the gift.I have been out doing Gigs now for about 4 years and I got to tell ya there is know better feeling. I have played to huge crowds and I have played to chairs. Its not always great sometimes I think I could have done better but it all comes down to one thing. I have stories to tell. I have made folks laugh and I have made them cry. Music is always there when you need a friend. Really about the only music I don't care for is Rap. I just don't get it. But there are folks that just don't get my music also and that's ok. I'm glad we are all not the same. What a boring world it would be. I started to learn how to play guitar when I was about 13. I say started because I will be learning until I die or my hands just wont let me anymore. Last summer I got a really great chance to record a Hometown Showcase in my hometown of Athens Ohio at D and R studio. Which the address is on the inside of my CD. I also worked in an Open Stage at The Blue Gator in Athens which is a really cool club. Ron Mash invited me to his Studio to record a Hometown showcase which they play on a Local radio station. It turns out we had a blast. Ron and his partner Dave Norris really are a couple kind and cool folks. Well they sent me a CD of the whole show and gave me permission to do whatever I wanted to do with it. Plus they have given me an open invitation to come back anytime and do another show. What I did for cdbaby was take all the chat out and just left the songs. Translation they were tired of the business and greedy. But that's ok it was their business not mine. But this is a really good song and needs to be heard. I had it recorded in Nashville at Chip Martin Studio and he did an outstanding job. I just pray we dont sell to much of our wonderful free country to these other countries.
