About JD The Junior: Born and raised in Maryland and the DMV area, JD The Junior, (JD The JR Or JD For Short) brings his creative, lyrical, versatile and moving taste of music to the industry and the people of the Maryland and DC area. Combining his musical genius with the stories of his own life and taste behind all of his work. Although JD has been writing poetry and found his new love in writing music at the age of 12, He didn't pursue his dream of a music career until February 12th, 2012 (His Birthday). After releasing a number of projects, (Street Class Music, Street Class Intermission) JD The Junior continues to learn and perfect his craft in music. Planning to release some of the hottest music in the DMV while also making a big name for himself. JD not only plans to make great local music but to possible make a worldwide, global name for himself and his company Jet Major Entertainment. A production and possible promotion company that he plans to build from the bottom. Bringing together a movement of artist or musical people to create great music for people to hear. In September of 2012, JD The Junior released "Street Class Intermission" with DJ Infamous VA and DJ Junior. Both of these guys are recognizable DJ's in the DMV area and mixtape circuit. After the positive results from their previous effort, JD The Junior hooked up with DJ Infamous VA and DJ Junior again for his breakout mixtape DMV: Dreams, Motivation, Victory. “DMV” Is One Of JD The Junior’s biggest releases in his rising music career. The tape features a few known DMV artists such as Top Dolla Sweizy, JR The Prince and Asso Cartel for this project. Kid Hype, is also another artist who worked with JD and is also alongside JD on his personal label Jet Major Entertainment. JD The Junior is quickly becoming recognized in the DMV rap circuit because of his "Hustle" and doesn't plan to stop there. As a former Robert Morris University Student and alongside seeking a recording arts degree at Full Sail University starting the summer of 2013. Sources state that JD The Junior grows more and more each day and gives 100% in any of the work he does. Not only as an upcoming music artist but also as a student, artist, future businessman, possible promoter and entrepreneur. JD The Junior is said to have done a few shows around the DMV area alongside in other states but often stays busy with school and music. As more music and work is prepared and the near future approaches, it’s no telling what the year may have in stores for JD The Junior or what JD The Junior has in stores for us.
