Billboard described Tanja's first album, FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION: A LEGACY OF LULLABIES , as "stunningly gorgeous". "Oyfn Veg" is a single from her upcoming album, " Love Songs To A New World", due out later this summer. "Oyfn veg shtayt a boym" - Along the road a tree stands - its branches gnarled and empty. The birds have all flown away: some to the East, some to the West and the rest to the South; and the tree is left alone to face the storm. I want to be a little bird and sing my song to make the tree happy again, but my mother cries that I might fall out of the tree. She has me put on a scarf and hat; long johns and galoshes, because the winter is so very cold.... and now her "little bird" is so weighted down that it cannot fly. I gaze sadly into my mother's eyes and understand that her love for me would not allow me to be a little bird.
