Black Key EP, Vol. 2
Slowly but surely - is there any better way? For 2 years, Brighton's Black Key Records has been releasing plenty of original house music, from a range of superb producers such as Milton Jackson, Giovanni Damico and Chamboche. Here they prove, once again, that they are a serious, heavyweight label, fast attracting all the right sort of attention. For Black Key's second various artists EP, they recall the talents of Fear of Flying boss, BLM, and Secretsundaze associate, Flori (here in cahoots with frequent collaborator, Ethyl), plus debutant German, Pawas. The result is 3 tracks of exquisitely crafted house music. There is no doubt that this EP will be an absolute must for all connoisseurs of quality house music, especially those who support vinyl. Selected DJ feedback: Norm Talley - Solid! Full support! Tazz - Ben coming through with the goods once again! Great effort from the other guys too :) Mosca (Radio 1) - Ethyl & Flori come correct! Outstanding leftfield club gear. Craig Smith (6th Borough Project) - Ethyl & Flori track is heavy! Good EP all round James Johnston - Dope mix of vibes....especially feeling the Ethyl & Flori cut....wicked stuff. Kevin Griffiths - Ace EP - the Ethyl & Flori is particularly ticking my fancy Roberto Rodriguez - Loving this - great stuff! Jordan Peak - More killer beats from this label in Brighton. Will play all 3. Huxley - Wicked from Tim and Jamie - nice one.
