Serene described writing this song as emotionally cathartic. “Save Me From Myself” is a quiet reflection of a life that longs to be truly free. The desire to break out from that loneliness within, living in a world that thrives on portraying a seemingly perfect life, often so fleeting, only to lose sight of who we really are. It echos our loneliness amidst the chaos, and our continuous search of the light that will come. It takes a flicker of hope to ignite that desire within to rise up, and re- write one’s own story; of a person who finally embraces that reflection in the mirror and finds the courage to live fearlessly.
