West Coast & Hawaii
TALKSICC was founded by Tonic Shotz and Ghizo G. (aka Cutty), in 1996, on the Hilo side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Shortly after, the state (CA) had stolen Cutty's freedom (Pelican Bay/Folsom). At the same time, Pete-Nutt (a DJ for the group Reciprocated Chaos), had started building a studio as group members ventured off. By early 1997, Tonic Shotz and Pete-Nutt were TALKSICC: working on their first 20 song demo. The demo was never released , but a few other projects were also put together and bootlegged. TALKSICC continued to grow around the turn of the century with the addition of RECIPROCATED CHAOS group members Big Bizzness and Irongate (aka Silent Knight). Big Bizzness, returning from Las Vegas where he was working with affiliates THE ABYSSMEN, helped the group mature their writing and vocal skills. On the other hand, Irongate (Silent Knight) provided a new sound and project coordination for the group. As the catalog of songs grew, Big Nick executive produced TALKSICC'S first independent album "ColdWorld". Although there was little hip-hop market in Hawaii, they still managed to open up some doors of opportunity. During the making of Silent Knight's "Talksicc presents Global Game Entertainment", Tonic Shotz moved back to L.A. to expand THE MOVEMENT. "Global Game" was released gaining airplay on the Islands while TALKSICC WEST COAST was making a major impact and growing rapidly. In no time was TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT formed as the father label to TALKSICC HAWAII & TALKSICC WEST COAST. To add to the power, TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT joined forces with REIGNING ELEMENTS MULTI MEDIA. In 2004, TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT dropped MIXX TAPE VOL. 1 and just finished VOL. 2 ,which is full of hot producers and artists. Just to name a few; Ryu and Tak from Styles of Beyond, Sandman, The Abyssmen, Daz Dillinger, and of coarse TALKSICC "HAWAII" and "WEST COAST". In 2005, TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT will be working harder than ever on other projects to come out soon. TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT will be dropping albums from Smoke, Big Bizzness, Pete-Nutt, Ace, and Royal T. Also, 2 more Mixxtapes, and Tonic's "808 2 the GoldenState" will be in the works while there will be guest appearances from TALKSICC affiliates all over the place. TALKSICC ENTERTAINMENT is spreading quick and artists and producers alike are joining "THE MOVEMENT". © 2005 TALKSICC
