In Stereo
Catfight! are hotter than hot. A 60's Garage Rock explosion of fuzzed out guitars and wham-bam-thank you ma'am percussion, Catfight! Exude cool. Influenced by The Velvets, T-Rex, The Stones, The Nazz, The White Stripes, Yardbirds, early Kinks and Eagles Of Death Metal, Catfight! have become a high profile band in the Pacific Northwest, playing everywhere from Oregon to Seattle to Vancouver, Canada. With members opening for National acts such as The Bloodhound Gang, Dishwalla, The Alarm, Goldfinger and DJ Spooky, Catfight! have played the International Pop Overthrow Festival and placed in the Top Ten at a National Battle of the bands. Using only vintage gear from the sixties, the 2-piece boy/girl duo of Bobby Rotten and Christine combine great harmonies, fashion sense, sex appeal and a unique video projection enhanced live show to create a retro yet postmodern rock and roll collage. Like summertime parties with all your friends, go-go dancers and hot rods, Catfight! produce good vibrations all around. An erotic lo-fi pop experience with songwriting chops to boot. Catfight! are currently working on their CD with Sean Flora ( The Shins, Franz Ferdinand, Madness, Cake ) that is slated for a Spring/Summer 2008 release. “CATFIGHT! hearkens back to a day when rock was pure and points to a future in which rock will rediscover its unsullied roots.” - A&R Select "CATFIGHT! has become a two piece 60’s pop band that puts on short, but very thorough shows. It's always fun to go to a show where it looks like the musicians are having as much fun as the audience." - PDX Guide "Mixing 60's Garage rock with Pop elements, makes CATFIGHT! the band that's hard to NOT want to listen to. They instantly catch you with clever songwriting and superb production...a package that truly delivers." - Portland Mercury "I’m going to go out on a limb and give these guys less than a year before they make it big-time. They’ve got something super great." - A Prospering City
